The date is AD 2009, and the inhabitants of Asterix’s village are still putting up a fight against shameless attacks from internationalised Rome. And they are holding on ! How ? Because of a magic potion prepared by their druid Panoramix which gives them superhuman strength, the receipe for which is handed down from druid to druid. The two principal characters are Asterix and Obelix. Obelix never needs to take the magic potion as he fell in the cauldron when he was a baby.
